As most of you know I had surgery on my knee a week ago.. and here is what Joshua sent out, if you did not get it... see below.
Kristy is out of surgery, and I just had the consultation with her
doctor. He said all went well and she should feel much better. There
is a possibility of a reoccurrence of issues down the road due to the
amount of injury he found, and we can discuss treatments for that down
the road. I'm waiting for her to wake up and take her home. We will be
resting and icing today and start rehabilitating tomorrow. Thank you
for all of your prayers and thoughts.
Well it is a week later, and I am doing better. I was able to totally rest from Wednesday to Friday thanks to my inlaws for watching the kids so I could get some much needed rest. Friday I went to Physical Therapy and it was not as bad at I thought it would be, they were really nice and they gave me exsercises to do at home, (yes I am doing them, twice a day) That night the kids came home and the weekend we took it as easy at we could with a 3 year old and 9 month old. We went to church on Sunday, and I think that did me in, so Monday I was back resting and trying not to do too much. Yesterday afternoon about 3pm I got up from the couch and thought okay I can't take this I am going to do something so I started doing stuff like a mad woman.. (you know me.. have to go go go.. ) Well about 4pm, I got really dizzy and sick to my stomach so I took it easy the rest the night. Today I am in some pain, and not taking all my pain meds.. so I can function out of work. I have physical therapy today at noon and going to take the remainder of the day off to rest, then back at work for a full day on Friday... I am on one crutch and can already tell this surgery was the right call.
Joshua has been GREAT, taking care of the me, the boys and things around the house. We have been getting food from dear friends and it has been a HUGE blessing, THANK YOU.
AND THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.....
An update on the boys.. Tyler has been a great help... and so funny with the things he comes up with but he is growing so so fast... and just a joy and so caring and doing great with Parker and helping me out with things around the house, and making sure his little brother is okay., Parker is now 9 months old and is going to crawl anyday now, he gets around rolling and pushing himself and he is one determined and strong fella... we found him sitting up in his crib night before last so we dropped the crib down... they grow up so fast! In about a week they will both be going to stay with my Sister and Brother In Law for over a week, we will so miss them but I know they will have fun!
